About our store:

The shop is much more than an outlet store. Yes, you’ll find after-season styles at great prices. You can also see samples of current-season styles. (Each sample is shown in only one size, usually, a medium, which you are welcome to try on. If it doesn’t happen to be your size, the staff can usually find you something in a similar cut to try on.) Then comes the really fun part – looking at the seasonal fabric swatches. Our factory nearby will dye your garment(s) and ship them directly to you within 2-3 weeks or so. The shop usually offers some surprises as well – maybe a market tote we’ve sewn from a fabric test or some limited-edition scarves. The staff is super-knowledgeable; the dressing room is communal.

About the neighborhood:

Cut Loose is just one walkable block from the 24th Street BART station. If you are driving, metered parking is plentiful on both sides of the street. Arizmendi Bakery is right down the block (1268 Valencia; closed Tuesday). It’s worth noting that their pizza of the day comes out of the oven starting at 11©30. If you want to stay in the ‘hood for drinks or dinner, we like Beretta (1199 Valencia). On the weekend, Beretta is open continuously, for brunch-lunch-cocktails-dinner. Continuing down Valencia toward Market, you’ll find Scarlet Sage Herb Co.
